Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted RN license
- Previous experience in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (minimum one year preferred)
- BLS and PALS certifications required; additional specialty certifications a plus
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Compassionate communicator with pediatric patients and families
- Ability to adapt swiftly in a fast-paced and high-acuity setting
- Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) and hospital protocols
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for critically ill children, monitoring and interpreting vital signs and clinical changes
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and advanced treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Support and educate families, providing clear communication regarding patient status and care procedures
- Document all patient care activities accurately in accordance with facility standards
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and participate in code response situations
- Uphold infection control and patient safety best practices at all times
- Participate in unit-based initiatives to improve patient outcomes and workplace safety

$2,264 - $2,477/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
